Providing Meals for those in Need
Doors of Change provides transitional services and housing for homeless youth, ages 18-24. Heartfelt Helpings
provides a Sunday dinner service from 5:00 to 6:00 for those who participate in the Doors of Change "Taking Music &
Art to the Streets Program". Volunteers prepare a hot meal and serve dinner for 15 to 30 youth at the Episcopal
Church Center in Ocean Beach.
Monarch Schools educates and cares for homeless students from K thru 12. Heartfelt Helpings
provides warm and nutritious dinner service on Family Fridays. From 2:00 to 4:00 pm volunteers prepare a hot meal
from 4:30 to 5:30 volunteers serve dinner for 200 to 250 people.

Connections Housing provides transitional services and housing for homeless adults. Heartfelt Helpings
provides a Sunday dinner service for those who reside in the PATH transitional housing facility in downtown San
Diego. From 3:00 to 6:00 pm volunteers prepare a hot meal in the commercial kitchen on location and from 5:30 to
7:00 pm volunteers serve dinner for 75 to 100 people.
Every Tuesday 9:30 to noon. Volunteers meet to prepare 210 nutritious brown bag lunches for those who use the
homeless client services at Neil Good Day Center.
