Loving Spoonfuls prepared and served 220 nutritious brown bag lunches at the Alpha Project Neil Good Day Center and the Alpha Project Winter Shelter.  Donated blankets, coats and sweaters were also greatly appreciated.

One grateful recipient said, "Thank you for the meal.  Its people like you that help me to know that I will make it through this difficult time."

Loving Spoonfuls was honored to serve a healthy dinner to homeless youth who participate in the Taking Music & Arts to the Streets program at the Episcopal Church Center in Ocean Beach which is organized and sponsored by Photocharity.

Participants also received clothing, shoes, sleeping bags, hair brushes and we also brought homemade scarves for the participants to take if they wanted.

Loving Spoonfuls was honored to provide a nutritious dinner on November 16th to the 25 homeless youth who participate in the Taking Music & Arts to the Streets program at the Episcopal Church Center in Ocean Beach which is organized and sponsored by Photocharity. Photocharity has helped save over 1800 homeless youth in long term safe housing for more then 12 years in partnership of SDYS Storefront Shelter. Participants also received clothing, shoes, sleeping bags and hygiene kits (thank you Sister Karla!). Loving Spoonfuls continues to expand its meal services by partnering with amazing organizations like Photocharity.

Loving Spoonfuls prepared and served 250 brown bag lunches at the Alpha Project Neil Good Day Center in San Diego.  We also had an opportunity to provide comfort pillows for people in wheelchairs and referral information for people needing assistance with their job search.

Pictures from Monarch Schools Family Dinner Night

Loving Spoonfuls sponsored the Family Dinner Night at Monarch Schools, a school in San Diego whose mission is to educate students impacted by homelessness and to help them develop hope for a future and the necessary skills for personal success.

With the help of 10 wonderful volunteers, over 180 children and their families were fed a healthy and hearty meal.  A great time was had by all and, of course, there was ice cream!
